Services
Remedial Massage
Remedial Massage Therapy is the systematic assessment and treatment of the muscles, tendons, ligaments and connective tissues of the body to assist in rehabilitation, pain and injury management. As a Remedial therapist of more than 18 years, I have extensive knowledge of anatomy, physiology and pathophysiology which enables me to determine how and where to treat patients, for the most effective and efficient results. With my Remedial Massage therapy, patients claim to feel relaxed and renewed after each session. I tailor your session to work on your specific goals and needs. I love showing my patients how just a few treatments can make an enormous difference to their health.
Yoga Therapy
Yoga therapy is the process of empowering individuals to progress toward improved health and well-being through the application of the teachings and practices of Yoga. As a Yoga therapist I enjoy prescribing individualised regimens of postures, breathing exercises, and relaxation techniques to suit individual needs.
Dry Needling
Dry Needling is a skilled intervention that uses a thin filiform needle to penetrate the skin and stimulate underlying myofascial trigger points, muscular, and connective tissues for the management of neuro-musculoskeletal pain and movement impairments. It involves the needling of myofascial trigger points using acupuncture needles to deactivate & help resolve trigger points. With my holistic Dry Needling treatment, your body will feel free and will be cleared of tension and stress that life places upon us. I’m trained in a variety of holistic techniques that will surely help to heal you both mentally and physically.
Triggerpoint Therapy
Trigger Point is a bodywork technique that involves the application of pressure to tender muscle tissue in order to relieve pain and dysfunction in other parts of the body. It may also be called myofascial (myo meaning muscle, fascial meaning connective tissue) trigger point therapy. TPT uses concentrated finger point pressure to "trigger points" (hyper-sensitive fibres in muscles) to eliminate cycles of spasm & pain. In my holistic approach to body work, I generally use a combination of TPT and RMT when I am treating my patients.
Pregnancy Massage
During pregnancy massage is a wonderful complementary choice for prenatal care. It is a healthy way to reduce stress and promote overall wellness. Massage relieves many of the normal discomforts experienced during pregnancy, such as backaches, stiff neck, leg cramps, headaches and edema (or swelling).

Does Dry Needling hurt?
No Dry Needling does not need to hurt. There are different intensities of techniques that can be used, which will be again determined by your desired outcomes.
How many treatments do I need?
Treatment numbers will always be determined by your presenting issue. If you have an injury and need rehabilitation/ or have a chronic presentation/ or if you have an acute presentation, the prescription will be different. I like to see significant improvements after the first treatment. I aim to have my clients feel better and well quickly. We both want results fast and that is what I will deliver. I am more than happy to refer you on if we are not able to achieve the desired outcomes.
