Remedial Massage Therapy is the systematic assessment and treatment of the muscles, tendons, ligaments and connective tissues of the body to assist in rehabilitation, pain and injury management. As a Remedial therapist of more than 18 years, I have extensive knowledge of anatomy, physiology and pathophysiology which enables me to determine how and where to treat patients, for the most effective and efficient results. With my Remedial Massage therapy, patients claim to feel relaxed and renewed after each session. I tailor your session to work on your specific goals and needs. I love showing my patients how just a few treatments can make an enormous difference to their health.
Yoga therapy is the process of empowering individuals to progress toward improved health and well-being through the application of the teachings and practices of Yoga. As a Yoga therapist I enjoy prescribing individualised regimens of postures, breathing exercises, and relaxation techniques to suit individual needs.
Dry Needling is a skilled intervention that uses a thin filiform needle to penetrate the skin and stimulate underlying myofascial trigger points, muscular, and connective tissues for the management of neuro-musculoskeletal pain and movement impairments. It involves the needling of myofascial trigger points using acupuncture needles to deactivate & help resolve trigger points. With my holistic Dry Needling treatment, your body will feel free and will be cleared of tension and stress that life places upon us. I’m trained in a variety of holistic techniques that will surely help to heal you both mentally and physically.
Trigger Point is a bodywork technique that involves the application of pressure to tender muscle tissue in order to relieve pain and dysfunction in other parts of the body. It may also be called myofascial (myo meaning muscle, fascial meaning connective tissue) trigger point therapy. TPT uses concentrated finger point pressure to "trigger points" (hyper-sensitive fibres in muscles) to eliminate cycles of spasm & pain. In my holistic approach to body work, I generally use a combination of TPT and RMT when I am treating my patients.
During pregnancy massage is a wonderful complementary choice for prenatal care. It is a healthy way to reduce stress and promote overall wellness. Massage relieves many of the normal discomforts experienced during pregnancy, such as backaches, stiff neck, leg cramps, headaches and edema (or swelling).

Lisa is amazing! Her calming nature and effervescent personality makes it a very enjoyable experience. Lisa is extremely enthusiastic towards her work and her knowledge of anatomy has exceeded my expectations. She is highly professional and thrives on providing holistic care to her patients. I have a very demanding job as a registered nurse and I am also a busy mum of 3 children. I understand the importance of maintaining a healthy life style and I’m extremely please to have Lisa as my remedial massage therapist.
I have been seeing Lisa for about 3 months now, I have seen a massive improvement. I go to the gym 6 times a week I’m extremely active. Before seeing Lisa I was getting massages twice a week. I was always so tight and sore which was costing me a fortune, so I needed another alternative. I was recommended to Lisa by a friend. She started doing Dry Needling/ Remedial Massage treatments on me and I have never felt better. I have noticed such a difference and people around me even say my posture has gotten so much better as well. I suffer from planta fasciitis, she has made such a difference to my walking. I highly recommended Lisa to anyone.
Lisa, I struggled to walk into your rooms the first time I met you, but to say your remedial massage was helpful is just not enough. I actually skipped out. You unknotted knots in my leg that had become so inflamed from wearing a new prosthetic. Lisa I cannot recommend you enough. Your fingers and elbows were insane and I am smiling again. Lisa thank you so much.
As a personal trainer and active person I train almost every day and I put my body into a lot of stress. Lisa is an amazing professional Remedial Massage Therapist who really understands your body. She helped me with a few injuries on my shoulder and hamstring. I've never tried dry needling before, as I thought it's painful and uncomfortable but after I tried it with Lisa I completely changed my mind. My injuries and muscles recovered so quickly, now every time I go see Lisa I ask her to do the dry needling and I love the results. She is very gentle and always adjusts to your needs. Lisa is one of the most friendly and kind people I've ever met I can't recommend her enough.
